A leading Quensland based civil construction company requires an experienced Heavy Diesel Mechanic to maintain and repair trucks, light vehicles and earthmoving machinery.
The role will also involve welding and fabrication.
The Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for but not limited to:
- Inspecting, diagnosing and performing repair of mechanic, hydraulic and structural deficiencies on all plant and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of workshop and yard
- Perform all preventitive maintenance activities and servicing on all equipment
- General welding and fabrication as required
To be considered for this role, the applicant must have:
- Trade qualifications as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic or Diesel Mechanic
- Experience working with earthmoving equipment
- Minimum of MR truck licence
- Must have excellent time management and multi-tasking skills
- Display a commitment of WH&S
- Be available to work Monday-Friday (with overtime and weekend work where required)
- Be reliable and punctual
